I finally got some pictures of those beautiful E9s of IC. It wasn't planned that day, it just fell in place.
I was taking a little trip to Gilman to photograph freight trains and then head down to Paxton to the IC company store. I
took a break about noon, got some food on the run and came back to the north overpass in Paxton. I got out of my truck to
check to see if i could see a train but seen no headlights in the far distance. I got back in the truck to finish my fries
and three or four minutes passed when I seen the top of the train and knew right there it was the elusive IC E9s. I figured
they were going to Champaign for a college game so I highballed there to grab some pics. I am happy now!
